For those who like wine and dine and exploring new restaurants, Restaurants of Bangkok (ROB) organizes monthly running dinners. It’s a meal that starts with an aperitif and appetizers, a main course, and desserts with wines to match. More than that, each dish is served at a different restaurant in the area. 

The 7th running dinner was held in the Thonglor area. It started with aperitif and appetizers at IZA Japanese Fusion at the Somerset Thonglor. 
 

Mount Fuji, Baked seafood in spicy mayonnaise topped with sesame. 
 

Twilight in Bangkok, Thai spicy salmon raped with seaweed paper, with fruity white wine

 

For the main course we ran (actually it was a walk) across the street to Beccofino. There were 3 choices; Australian Veal Ossobuco with mashed potatoes mushroom sauce or homemade pappardelle with slow roasted duck ragout or a vegetarian dish.

Ossobuco went nicely with a medium body red
 

 

For dessert a van was provided to nearby soi 53, Curries and More where dessert was served.

 

Cold Souffle with Mocha Parfait, Cold lemon souffle on chiffon chocolate base, topped with coco powder, served with vanilla flavor cream, mocha parfait and strawberry sauce.

 
For those who have just arrived in Bangkok or have been here for a while that like to know more of the Bangkok dinning scene or just bored of it and want to find something new, this is a good start.
