Food, Family & Friends Friday nights at Elements

| November 27, 2013
Elements restaurant at The Okura Prestige Bangkok continues its successful and highly popular ‘Food, Family & Friends’ bistro-style dinner every Friday evening.

The concept was launched by the hotel’s Culinary Director Thomas Jakobi. “We wanted to create the best possible start to the week-end with a relaxed, informal atmosphere where diners may select as many courses as they like from our bistro-style blackboard menus,” he explains.

The set price of Baht 2,500++ includes continuous-flow wines, local beers and soft drinks. The hotel’s Sommelier Marc Bittner chooses classic wines each Friday from new and old world regions that complement the extensive menu choices.

“Guests love the free-range feel to Friday evenings at Elements,” adds Thomas Jakobi. “We always offer, for example, freshly shucked oysters as an appetiser and our main courses feature the freshest fish, the leanest meat cuts and the tastiest pasta flavours. The artisan cheeses and desserts are presented free-style in the restaurant to reinforce the informal atmosphere that guests seem to enjoy so much.

“Our decision to transform Elements every Friday into a casual, market-style bistro is proving to be very successful. We also invite diners to step into open kitchen to prepare their own main courses under the watchful eye of our expert chefs.”

Elements, located on the 25th floor of The Okura Prestige Bangkok, opens nightly for dinner at 6.00pm.

Price is subject to 10% service charge and 7% government tax.
