“Following an unexpectedly warm welcome to our Singapore restaurant located in Marina Bay Sands, we feel that this is the perfect timing to come to Bangkok especially in light of increased tourism and demand for fine-dining Indian cuisine as well as a significantly large Indian community in Thailand,” said Mr. Amit Burman, Chairman of Lite Bite Foods Pvt. Ltd.

Punjab Grill Bangkok commands a total space of 280 square meters including the bar and lounge, and has a seating capacity for 70 guests.  Diners who have experienced Punjab Grill’s cuisine in India, Abu Dhabi or Singapore will now be able to enjoy the restaurant’s signature dishes of ‘Avocado Papdi Chaat’ (avocado tossed with sweet and spicy chutneys and marinated cherry tomatoes, and served in flour roll cones), ‘Tawa Scallops’ (pan-seared, spiced king scallops, served with saffron scented Tandoori cauliflower puree and topped with cauliflower fritters) and ‘Tandoori Jheenga’(tiger prawns scented with carom seed and char-grilled in a tandoori oven, served with mint and coriander chutney)  right here in the City of Angels.

The menu at Punjab Grill Bangkok has been designed by Chef Bharath Bhat, who brings with him a wealth of experience from 5-star hotels and resorts such as Grosvenor House Dubai, Armani hotels, St. Regis, Le Meridien and Alila resorts.  He has played a major role to ensure that not only high quality fresh ingredients and local produce are available, but also that the dishes selected reflect the discerning standards and authenticity of the Punjab Grill brand.

“We are delighted that Lite Bite Foods has chosen to open Punjab Grill Bangkok in the premises of our hotel.  Although the restaurant has its own main entrance in the driveway and is geared to be a separate dining destination, our guests will also have the benefit from having such a reputable Indian restaurant on their doorstep”, commented Mr. Simon Ramsay, General Manager of Radisson Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit hotel.  “The restaurant is also very convenient in terms of location as Sukhumvit Soi 13 can be accessed by both Nana and Asoke BTS stations which are close by”, Mr. Ramsay added.

Punjab Grill Bangkok will only be open for dinner from 6:00 – 11:30 p.m., and during the month of February 2016, every diner making a reservation through its website: will receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco to join in celebrating the opening of the restaurant.
