Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok announced the new Executive Chef Stefan Trepp

Mrs. Amanda Hyndman, General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, recently announced the promotion of *Stefan Trepp* to the position of *Executive Chef*.

Chef Stefan, a Swiss National, joined Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok in 2009 from a career that has taken him from Switzerland to Dubai, the Philippines and the USA. For the past three years Chef Stefan has been working closely alongside Chef Norbert Kostner to assimilate the skills, passion and drive that have delivered the past 37 years of extraordinary success at ‘La Grande Dame’ and he is very much looking forward to his new role.

*Chef Norbert Kostner* has now taken up the position of *Culinary Director,*responsible for driving innovation and creativity, for which he is well renowned. He will continue to be responsible for maintaining his long-held relationships within Bangkok and the international community, while mentoring the next generation of culinary talent. “I’m delighted that we are not only maintaining the invaluable advice and leadership of Chef Norbert, but will also benefit from the strong professional partnership that has been forged between these two very talented chefs,” said General Manager Mrs. Amanda Hyndman, “we are also delighted to be able to cultivate and encourage internal talent, and these two appointments will ensure that Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok retains the level of dining excellence for which it is renowned worldwide.”
