Millennium Hilton Bangkok = Chinese New Year promotion

| January 31, 2013

The unique cultures of Thailand and China are melded together in our diverse population, making Chinese New Year – the first day of the first lunar month in the Chinese calendar– a highly important celebration here.

To mark the auspicious event, our signature Chinese restaurant Yuan is cooking up a storm of tastes from the mystic orient from 9th to 14th February 2013, giving you more reason than ever to welcome in the Year of the Snake.

As you enter Yuan, your spirits will rise as you hear the distinct notes of the Guzheng, a traditional Chinese instrument. On 10th February, a troupe of dancers will also be performing a Lion Dance, prowling through the lobby and the restaurants and offering a visual spectacular of dazzling colour and gravity-defying leaps.

The celebrations will be hotel-wide, but it is at Yuan that the heart of China will beat most fiercely. Our chef has created a range of menus, from THB 15,000 nett to THB 55,000 nett for 10 persons, for you to savour the best of Chinese cuisine.

Set and a la carte menus will be available both for lunch and dinner. Alternatively, enjoy our ever-popular a la carte dim sum, one of the restaurant’s permanent offerings, or the all-you-can-eat Dim Sum buffet from the 12th-14th February at THB 1,000 per person.

Other culinary highlights include deep-fried stuffed abalone, asparagus prawns, tender lamb flavoured with black pepper and lobster at your choice. Every guest will get to take home a complimentary *ang pao*, and can try their luck with a fortune cookie and the chance to win room-stay prizes at the luxurious Millennium Hilton Bangkok.

Also raise a glass to the New Year with our unlimited beverage package for THB 1,200 nett per person, with wines and beer on offer. And of course, Chinese New Year could hardly be complete without a sip of the finest tea, served to you by our in-house tea-master whose traditional gleaming golden teapot has a metre-long spout.
