| December 2, 2013

D’Sens at Dusit Thani Bangkok is delighted to reveal Wilfrid Hocquet as the restaurant’s new Chef De Cuisine with immediate effect. Chef Wilfrid will surely make an exceptional addition to the restaurant’s highly talented team.

Born, raised and educated in France, Chef Wilfrid graduated from culinary school before receiving on-the-job education at The Martinez in Cannes, Le Jardin des Sens in Montpellier and then studied under the tutorage of Franck Cerutti at the Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse, a 3-Michelin-Star restaurant in 2002 where he remained three years.

A good chef never ceases to learn, and Chef Wilfrid continued his education by working at another Alain Ducasse restaurant Bar & Boeuf. His first spell cooking overseas came in New York City as Chef de Partie at the 3-Michelin-Star Daniel before moving back to France to work again with Alain Ducasse at Michelin-star restaurant La Bastide de Moustiers and then as Executive Chef of Ducasse’s Benoit.

Dusit Thani Bangkok is delighted to have secured the services of such a talented and passionate young chef who vows to bring a fresh touch to the already exceptional cuisine the fine dining restaurant is renowned for.
