New Gourmet Italian Menu at Jojo

| September 9, 2018
Jojo Restaurant, on Level 1 of The St. Regis Bangkok, is renowned for its authentic Italian flavors, continually presenting delectable new Italian dishes to Bangkok diners. This July 2018, the team at Jojo is launching a brand new gourmet experience, with creative menu items, in true Italian style, with contemporary flair and artistic presentation.

Cherishing the heritage of genuine Italian kitchens, tradition meets innovation, in the heart of Bangkok. Guests at Jojo will be treated to exquisite taste sensations, with the freshest ingredients combined and developed into original recipes that represent the epitome of Italy.

Discover soup, like never before with Jojo’s new ‘Mushroom & Truffle Soup’ (THB 500++). Made from Italian porcini mushrooms, champignons from Thailand, and shimeji mushrooms, the secret to this soup is a homemade vegetable stock, from the mountains of Northern Italy. Served with sautéed mushrooms and fresh herbs, Italian summer black truffle is sliced at your table.

Moving on to a rich ‘Risotto with Fresh Herbs & Aged Balsamic’ is a luscious treat for the palate (THB 650++). Risotto rice is imbued with the flavors of fresh rosemary, thyme, basil and parsley, and finished with fresh mint leaves, a touch of citrus, butter and Grana Padano cheese. Served to the table, 8-year-old balsamic vinegar, which has been aged in oak barrels, from the heart of balsamic production in Modena, is poured onto the risotto, to add an invaluably distinctive aspect.

Famed for its house-made fresh pasta, no visit to Jojo is complete without trying the new ‘Tortelli Alla Norcina’ (THB 520++). Freshly made pasta is prepared according to a rustic grandmother-style recipe. Filled with Italian sausage and enriched with cream, this hearty and

delicious dish is served with a Roma-style sauce, including ricotta and pecorino cheeses. To finish, the tortelli pasta is topped with crumbled Grana Padano and fresh thyme leaves.

Bringing a strong sense of pride in Italian cuisine, the team at Jojo is excited to invite guests to enjoy the new tempting plates – these and more! – including the finest meats and fish, with a warm and welcoming spirit, in elegant surrounds.
