New Spa Experiences in Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Banyan Tree

| July 30, 2014
Angsana Spa presents a new spa experience in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Banyan Tree Group.Drawing expertise from Banyan Tree, Angsana Spa’s refreshing blend of treatments places special emphasis on the use of natural ingredients such as native flowers and fruits. It is based on the use of aromatherapy, the therapeutic sense of touch, and a fusion of techniques from the East and West to refresh and rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit.

The all-new Floral Fusion spa package features the signature Fusion massage by Angsana Spa which combines Thai and Swedish massage techniques to soothe aches and enhance flexibility. Guests will emerge with a delightful scent and glowing skin after the pampering floral body scrub.

Angsana Spa treatments come with a 30-minute Calm Time of refreshments and relaxation. Pampered to perfection, guests can recount their favourite Angsana Spa moments as they enjoy a cup of herbal tea and refreshments in the intimate enclave of the spa suite or lounge areas.

All spa guests will receive an exclusive 20th Anniversary Memento Gift with the purchase of the Floral Fusion spa package. The Scented Beads Sachet Memento emits a relaxing fragrance of the beautiful Chamanard flower, an indigenous blossom of Thailand, which is reminiscent of the experience in Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts. Guests will be able to fill their car, wardrobe or handbag with the scent of Banyan Tree.

Through the years, Banyan Tree Spa has been named the World’s Best Spa by numerous international awards, strengthening our brand presence in the global spa scene and amongst global travellers. With over 400 spa awards and accolades, our intuitive art of touch is the key to our expansion and global footprints, growing from one Banyan Tree Spa in 1994 to approximately 70 Banyan Tree and Angsana Spas today.

Professional Spa Therapists

The professional spa therapists of Banyan Tree Spa and Angsana Spa are trained at the exclusive Banyan Tree Spa Academies in Phuket in Thailand, and Bintan in Indonesia. The academy was first established in Phuket in May 2001 to provide dedicated training facilities to ensure that therapists consistently deliver the high quality treatments that guests have come to expect. Accredited by Thailand’s Education and Public Health Ministries, all Spa Academy therapists undergo at least 350 hours of rigorous theoretical and practical training.
