La Lanta Fine Art is pleased to announce a painting exhibition featuring two of Thailand’s most recognized names in the artistic industry, Elizabeth Romhild and Sumet Jumsai na Ayudhya.
“Parallel” exhibition observes self-expression of 2 artists whose similarity can’t be further from the truth. One is an Asian male, academically trained architect whose take in art is in the form of structural and masculine. The other is a European self-taught female painter who resorts her emotional expression through visuals of femininity. By juxtaposing the artwork of the two genres, the exhibition explores the trait differences of its creators yet embracing the common features apparent in their work.
Total of 23 works of art by Elizabeth Romhild and Sumet Jumsai na Ayudhya are on display at La Lanta Fine Art from March 30 until May 9, 2013.
The exhibition opening and artist reception will be presided over by Khun Anand Panyarachun, Thailand’s former Prime Minister on Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 17.00 to 19.00 hrs.
