Presidential Chef Bernard Vaussion at Le Normandie

For the first time in Thailand, Chef Bernard Vaussion, known as the “Culinary President” of France, will showcase his authentic French Presidential Cuisine at Le Normandie, Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok from 20-23 November 2013 (inclusive for lunch and dinner).Chef Bernard has been cooking at the Elysee Palace (the official residence of the President of the French Republic) for over 40 years.  A long-time member of the Club des Chefs des Chefs, he has served five generations of French Presidents, including Valery Giscard d’Estaing, Francois Mitterrand, Jacques Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande.  He has also prepared meals for international heads of state, including Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden; Albert II, Prince of Monaco; and Barack Obama, President of the United States.Chef Bernard has prepared a 5-course lunch menu is at Baht 2,950++ per person with wine pairing is additional at Baht 1,800++. Foie Gras Feuillete, inside the puff pastry is foie gras ham and truffles

Chablis Joseph Faiveley 2011 is pared the foie gras and the following course


Poached Fillet of Dover Sole with Mushroom Duxelles and herb crust


Roasted Loin of Lamb with Artichokes and stuffed zucchini flower.
