Rhône Valley Wine Dinner by E. Guigal at Fireplace Grill and Bar
InterContinental Bangkok’s storied Fireplace Grill and Bar is inviting connoisseurs of French wine on 28 November 2024 to an impassioned experience. Luxuriate in an evening of exquisite cuisine elevated by truly moving wine pairings at the Rhône Valley Wine Dinner by E. Guigal.
An elegant gastronomic event, the long table wine dinner will feature narration on the history of Rhône Valley vineyards by resident E. Guigal Winery expert, Veronica Weyssie. The enriching meal will also be adorned by live music.
The experience will emphasise the fine wines of E. Guigal, which has produced prestigious vintages for three generations based in the values of its original patriarch, Etienne Guigal.
On land with 24 centuries of history, the Guigal clan produces wines that communicate passion and create genuine emotion. The southern French vineyard is dedicated to a process that results in wines that arouse passionate enjoyment when shared with good company.
A Côtes du Rhône Blanc and Saint-Joseph Blanc, representing the north and south of the Rhône Valley, accompany the seafood starters of the six-course menu, Raw Langoustine Carpaccio with Foie Gras, and Poached Ostra Regal Oyster.
The Australian Lamb Loin with Chanterelle Mushroom Fricassee is served with a Crozes-Hermitage Rouge as the Blackmore Wagyu Beef Striploin is complemented by a genuine Gingondas.
Sip Châteauneuf-du-Pape while indulging on a selection of French artisan cheeses and finish the journey with a Goat Milk Panna Cotta topped with a Rhubarb Chutney and Dark Chocolate.
The Rhône Valley Wine Dinner by E. Guigal takes place 18.00 hours to 23.00 hours on Thursday, 28 November 2024 and is priced THB 4,900++ per person. IHG One Rewards members and Early Bird reservations made before 15 November 2024 are welcomed to the experience with a 20% discount.
