I really hesitate when there is an opportunity to go for a Sunday brunch. I’m trying to avoid big meals, large feast and trying to stay lean. But it’s so difficult when you live in a city that has so many offerings of fine food. Among the many Sunday Brunches in Bangkok the one at Sheraton Grande is one of the many that I don’t hesitate to come. This year they are celebrating their 12th anniversary offering one of the most complete Sunday brunches in town.

Every Sunday for the last 12 years the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit team prepares a feast like it is the end of the world. The atrium space including 4 outlets is transformed into a big venue for one of the biggest offering of international food. This year the selections are even bigger.

Chilled seafood station is the first place you should start. They have almost unlimited supply of fresh Fine de Claire Oysters, Alaskan crabs and all the usual seafood items; pawns, mussles, crabs, and Etc.

If you are looking for Asian food, they have it all; there are many Thai favorites dishes, spicy Indian dishes, and very tasty Chinese as well.

For a carnivore like me, I would go straight to the roasting station. Prime ribs, Lamb racks, pork loins are perfectly cooked accompanied by a variety of side dishes and sauces.

Rossini the Shartaon Grande Italian restaurant offers a good mix canapés, cold cuts, cheeses, and made to order foie gras and pastas.

Desserts are another big offering; there are so many variety from cakes, custards, soufflé, tarts, ice-creams, sherbets, chocolate truffles and chocolate fountains with fresh and dried fruits.

All this went well with free flow of alcoholic beverages, sparking wine, wines, beer and cocktails. Including the live jazz that is very enjoyable while have this big feast.

-2,650 Baht net for food including unlimited free flowing wine and other alcohol beverages,
-1,900 Baht net per person (12-19 years old) for food only and
-860 Baht per children (age 3-11).
