Small Eyes, Big Views

CASSIA GALLERY invites you to an opening reception of Small Eyes ,Big Views” art exhibition by Supmanee Chaisansuk. on SATURDAY May 19th, at 6pm.

Supmanee Chaisansuk:
She was born in Bangkok. As a young girl she always enjoyed drawing and watercolor painting. From 2001-2005, she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree (Architecture) and a Master of Architecture (mainly in Architectural Technology & Environmental Design) from the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University, Thailand. At present, she works as a project architect and researcher at the DT Group of Companies (DTGO), Bangkok, Thailand.

Inspiration :
Since 2009, surviving her encounter with bone cancer made her realize that life is short, and she should continue her life by engaging with what she loves. Watercolor painting is the most favorite thing in her life, therefore, she has passionately and energetically returned to sketching and painting.

 

 

 

 

Exhibition:
For the “Small Eyes, Big Views” exhibition she is keen to show her own view of her life. Her works are observations of the subtle beauty of her environment. She is inspired by local neighborhood homes, pets and travel throughout Asia that she expresses using her own style of watercolor.

The Gallery is located in Sukhumvit 31 (Soi Sawasdee), right hand side 300 meters from Sukhumvit Road. Parking is available. It is within walking distance from Asoke MRT/BTS stations.

A part of the of paintings will be donated to a scholarship fund for students at Buddharaksa Foundation
