New Steaks and Negroni at Scalini

Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok invites food aficionados to experience an exciting modern take on some of the finest Italian classic dishes at Scalini.

Chef de Cuisine Enrique Gonzales Abilleira has selected the Bistecca – a succulent, premium cut of T-bone steak weighing from 1 kilograms (kg) – 1.4kg – as the star dish to spearhead the refreshed new look at Scalini restaurant. Crafted by the chef’s original recipe, this char-grilled, stone oven-roasted bistecca is cooked to a sizzling perfection.


The bistecca is served with a choice of three rich marinades: Spicy Nam Tog Rub (mildly spicy and typically oriental); Roasted Garlic & Black Truffle (an Italian classic that’s delightfully aromatic and robust), and a French classic ‘Spicy Foie Gras (rich and buttery).


Chef Enrique has also selected negroni, a popular Italian cocktail, as the recommended beverage to reflect the style and ambience of the new-look Scalini restaurant. Negroni is also the perfect aperitif before enjoying Chef Enrique’s Bistecca. Invented by Count Camillo Negroni in Florence, Italy, the negroni is a well-balanced cocktail that is perfect for any social gathering. Stirred to perfection in a 1-1-1 ratio, the cocktail features three ingredients: barrel-aged Campari, gin and vermouth. For the finishing touch the negroni is topped off with a tangy orange peel garnish and served ‘on the rocks’.
