Surf and Turf Premium Bubbly Brunch at Red Sky Centara Grand at CentralWorld

The Surf and Turf Premium Bubbly Brunch is offered at Red Sky on the rooftop Centara Grand at CentralWorld. The first thing we notice from exiting the elevator on the 55th floor was the lively vibe. At 11.45am most of the tables were filled. Many people were walking around with plates full of food. It looks like red lobster.

After being seated, we went for the first round to the many food stations that are offered buffet style. Our first stop was the raw bar, 3 items that any foodies would kill for: Japanese Kagoshima Wagyu, Uni, and live raw Maine lobsters.


Warning, lobster are being killed; if you can’t bare the cracking sound of lobsters being snapped on the head then you can order them from your hosts at the table. As a carnivore we didn’t mind that but as an animal right person; if we didn’t waste them by having left overs it should be fine. To make this feel better, we enjoyed and savored every bite.  That being said live lobster meat was so satisfying we had to go for seconds.

Chilled lobster with varieties of roes



The seafood went very well with the Champagne Perrier- Jouet Grand Brut


Lobster again this time with oyster from different regions of the world.

The seafood station was pack with premium items that is not easily found in other places.


Alaskan king crab legs and varieties of crustacean


Lobster from south Africa and sea snails



They have trolleys that roll around each table; this one is the prime ribs.

Apart from the buffet stations, there are all you can eat a la carte menus that you can order from. Below are some of the items we thought was interesting:


Charcoal grilled Phuket lobster


Charcoal grilled Wagyu beef tenderloins with béarnaise was perfectly cooked, even for all you can eat, the quality was high.


Australian lamb rack with Perigourdine sauce. another winner.


Dessert was also very impressive


Many types of cakes, mousses and ice-cream


Crepe suzette with vanilla ice-cream


There were many more delicious delicacies offered, I can’t think of how one can try all. Maybe next time we can try some more but still couldn’t possibly try them all. This has to be one of the best Sunday brunches in town, definitely one with the most premium items; the only place that serves live raw lobster. Centara brunch is one of those rare treat you can only get once a month. We’ve been here before but can’t seem to get enough of it but it is hard to get reservations as it is only available every first Sunday of the month.
