Thai Airways and Visa collaborate to Offer Special Airfare and Privileges for Travelers

Visa cardholders can now enjoy Thai Airways International’s (THAI)’ world-renowned hospitality in the first ever promotional tie-in with the national carrier providing special airfare and prizes for travellers who book their flights through THAI’s website and pay using Visa.

The promotion offers the privilege of air tickets at special price to THAI’s favourite destinations in Asia*, catering to all kinds of travellers, including avid shoppers or culture lovers – or both!

Starting from 16 July to 30 September**, travellers can experience the wonders of neighboring destinations such as Myanmar’s vibrant commercial hub Yangon,Laotian cultural capital Vientiane, and the happening Mekong metropolis Phnom Penh in Cambodia.  Destinations include other cities in the Far East such as Hong Kong and Tokyo, Thais’ favourite duty free shopping haunts; and Singapore a long-time favourite weekend destination for Thai travellers. For lovers of Europe, special fares will also include Rome, Milan, Paris and London, where Thais can enjoy the pleasant summer and romantic autumn.

Visa cardholders will receive exclusive privileges*** when purchasing air tickets valued at THB 20,000 or more on THAI website ( In addition, the first 750 customers will receive an ENEGIE Overnight Bag valued at THB 4,900. For Visa Signature and Visa Infinite cardholders who purchase an international flight in Business Class or First Class will receive a 5,200 mAh battery power back-up**** valued at THB 1,200.
