The Mulberry at the Berkeley

The Mulberry, a newly restaurant – open kitchen concept of four cuisine styles brings four of the most famous dishes – Thai, Italian, Japanese and Chinese. Its open kitchen likes a stage performance of our chef team to show the process of cooking to our guests to guarantee that all dishes are cooked with fresh ingredients and quality.

The restaurant style is modern interior design in earth tone and white color. The floor at the front area adjacent to the open kitchen is coated with marble tiles in earth tone color stripe and the ceiling features with Roman decorative. Inside area of restaurant is one slight step up for proper dining area. The floor is coated with parquet and furnished with leather pearl white chair and colorful sofa set as a living room that guest can touch warm feeling like at home. At here, it also features 3 VIP rooms – two small private rooms and one large private room that can accommodate from 10 people up to 50 people.


The restaurant name “Mulberry” is came from the Mulberry Tree which has dark purple fruit (Thailand known as “Luke Mhon”). Mulberry is wonderful plant which is full of benefits both of mulberry leave and mulberry fruit. Mulberry leaves, particularly use to feed silkworm while mulberry fruits can be eaten fresh or edible and is widely used in juice, jam, pies, tarts, wines, tea, sauce, etc. Mulberry fruits are excellent sources of nourishment and indeed rich in numerous health benefiting. This is the origin of the name and concept of The Mulberry Multi-Cuisine Restaurant – 4 cuisine styles concept. To relate with the restaurant name, each four kitchens is named in kinds of flowers as “Dará” (Thai cuisine), “Cassia” means Rajapruek – national flower of Thaialnd (Italian cuisine), “Na Ha Na” (Japanese cuisine) and “Lian Hua” means lotus (Chinese cuisine).


In addition to an exceptional concept of The Mulberry Multi-Cuisine Restaurant, Our executive chef Purida Theeraphong and her team create a numerous of signature dishes of The Mulberry restaurant.  Certainly, mulberry fruits are cooked along with quality ingredients in special dishes from four cuisines and unique different style.  Quality ceramic dinnerware and silverware are selected to contain the foods look mouthwatering. All dishes offers serving dish by dish as European style. The menu features a wide range of appetizers, salads, soups, main dishes, dessert or the a la carte menu. Chef’s recommend dishes are Salmon Nam Tok, Angel hair pasta in truffle sauce, Fried-prawn in passion fruit sauce, Assorted Sushi Sashimi. Moreover, the special features of Mulberry is Amuse-bouches – starter which will be served guests while waiting for the food.


The Mulberry Multi-Cuisine Restaurant is located on 10th Floor of The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam. It is capable for 300 seats.
