V Villas Hua Hin, MGallery by Sofitel

| July 3, 2016

V Villas Hua Hin is an all pool villa resort located on the beach side in the city center of Hua Hin. The location is close to nearby attractions and restaurants. But once you get in you might not want to get out.

We were there for the weekend. On arriving at the entrance the staff were already expecting us and guided us to our villa.  The welcome drink and snacks were waiting for us at the villa. Check in was very convenient as we only had to sign a paper at the villa.

Our villa was a 2 bedroom pool villa. It was interesting how the architect design the approach to the villa; the walk way to the villas is elevated about one story high so you enter the villa by walking down an open stair well. It was a unique design feature. The villa is an open plan design where a simi-outdoor courtyard with the pool in the center which connects the living room, master bedroom and second bedroom. All rooms were well equipped with all the amenities of a five star resort; the second bedroom even has its own private garden.

The master bedroom has a large bathroom with a giant bath tub, it also has a nice view of the pool and in just a few steps from the bed you can jump right in the pool. The living room is equipped with a powerful Bose sound system that provides a nice mood to the beautiful ambiance. There is also an automatic espresso machine. Obviously the pool is the main attraction at about 18 meters in length; it is just spectacular to have a private pool just so close by our living space.

Apart from the pool in the villa there is the large beach side pool for all the guest at the resort. At the time we were there it was very breezy which makes it very pleasant. As I’ve mention before the walk way to the villas is elevated; it’s the same walk way to the pool so the pool is about one story high which makes us get a better view of the sea and beach area. It was very enjoyable to just watch the waves and the tide breaks and people of all sorts walk by.

Vilazzo is the signature restaurant at the resort; they serve both western and Thai food. On our stay we had meals here at different time of the day, the ambiance changes throughout the day with the view of the beach side pool, it just couldn’t be a better place the dine here. The food was also very good.  Below are some that we tried.

Thai spicy salmon carpaccio

Crab and avocado salad

Grilled lamb racks and mint sauce

Lobster thermidor and black ink fettuccine

Cheese cake, vanilla ice cream and berries

Even though this is not big resort with many guest staying at the time but they managed to offer big Breakfast. There were many items to choose from the buffet stations and the ala carte menus.

I like raw food, very few places offer good quality sashimi for breakfast

There was even Prosecco at the juice bar

They have daily spacial ala carte rice dish, this was the unagi and rice.

If you are looking for a very exclusive and luxurious place to stay in the heart of Hua Hin where everything is happening but at the same time being away from it all; V Villas is the place to be. Inside you’ll have a peaceful relaxing beach side, private pool experience. When you step outside you will have the rest of Hua Hin to explore.
