Nothing says fête like good traditional French cuisine. So this July say Bonjour and celebrate French National Day (La Fête Nationale), at VIE Hotel Bangkok with a unique French buffet dinner. A native of France, our Executive Sous Chef is well known for his Provencal-style cooking, and uses top quality ingredients as well as traditional methods of cooking to create sumptuous dishes from his homeland. Diners are invited not only to experience true French cuisine, but also the casualness and warmth of eating at a relative’s house.
Start your meal with an assortment of homemade terrines, or a wide selection of chilled seafood like Canadian lobsters, whelk, Fine de Claire no.3 oysters, or king crab. Savour classic salads like the Nicoise salad or the mouth-watering goat cheese with walnuts and green asparagus salad, followed by pan-fried frog legs in a parsley and garlic butter. Entrées include quiche lorraine and lasagne d’escargot in a cardamom and star anise sauce. Indulge your senses with paupiette duck with foie gras in fruit sauce, or sea bass croustillant with fresh herbs and truffle oil. Finish your meal with a warm Tarte Tatin, crème brulee, or a vanilla millefeuille.
