WEERAKET (JOE) NILAYON EXECUTIVE CHEF, THE HOUSE ON SATHORN

In 2009, Chef Joe moved to Krabi to join an opening team of Phulay Bay, a Ritz Carlton Reserve as Commis I where after only 2 months he got promoted to be Demi Chef. After spending some times in Krabi, Chef Joe came back to Bangkok to serve as Demi Chef and a year afterwards Chef de Partie at Brasserie Europa, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. With his shining performance, he was assigned to be Junior Sous Chef in an opening team for a new restaurant called “Niche” for another 3 years prior to joining The House on Sathorn.
Bringing a bag full of experiences and passion, Chef Joe started his journey with The House on Sathorn as Sous Chef at The Dining Room in February 2018. Chef Joe’s culinary path first began with the joy of cooking at home for his family and loved ones. His love and passion for cooking had developed from just home cooking within family to become professional career and brought him to where he is today. Chef Joe is currently Executive Chef and has been a great contributor for the new dining concept Modern Thai Seafood at Paii at The House on Sathorn.
